My sister and I have been kid-swapping almost daily.  It helps us support my mother and father after Dad’s stroke.  If one of us doesn’t have the kids, they’ve been together with a friend or church member.  The kids are excited to spend so much time together.  (They do have occasional bouts of mommy-itis) It’s fun to see them having fun.
One of the first days the kids did sidewalk art:
(along with a little watering of the flowers)
The morning Kinsley stayed with his friend Jack, he had fun talking about everything he observed about Jack’s sister: “baby no teeth….baby sleeping….”
Arianna (my sister Elizabeth’s youngest) and Kinsley are a year apart. Â Arianna doesn’t usually suck her thumb, but is posing for the picture. Quite a pair.
One day Lydia (6 yrs) and I stayed home from the evening visit to Grandpa (my dad) because of our colds. Â She set the table for family dinner here by herself.

Good laughs….my sister Virginia and brother Paul
Saturday morning we had a party with our friends’ kids, Jenny and Lisa.
Bethany (7, far left below) and Jenny (almost 7, far right) — with the paparazzi’s help tasting — did tasks on one counter while I did tasks on the other. Â We made coffeecake in half the time it takes me alone!
Outdoors, they brought the pumpkin into season with the spring flowers from our yard. (It got cold again today).
Yesterday we finally remembered to get pictures at the evening visit to Grandpa’s room at the rehab hospital.
